The use of the alleged fake licenses was disclosed in the Senate probe led by Senator Rodante Marcoleta. Lopez instructed the LTO to issue a show cause order to the concerned individuals and submit a detailed report to the committee.
In a statement, the DOTr reaffirmed its commitment to integrity and accountability and pledged full cooperation with ongoing legislative investigations.
